1. Purpose
These terms set the conditions for using the mobile app Sea Forager (the "app") provided by the Sea Forager team ("we"). By installing or using the app you agree to these terms.
2. The service
The app is a tide-foraging game in which you find and gather creatures on tidal flats and rocky shores. It offers foraging play, a gear shop, market prices, co-op requests, a field guide and journal, and tide alerts. Progress is stored on your device and no login is needed.
3. Free use and ads
The app is free and shows ads (Google AdMob). Ad content is provided by advertisers and we do not endorse advertised products or services. Rewarded ads play only when you choose them. In-game coins cannot be exchanged for money or transferred to other users.
4. Game information and the real sea
Tides, weather, creatures and rules (closed seasons, minimum sizes, village fisheries, etc.) in the game are game settings based on real references and must not be relied on for real foraging or safety decisions. Tide alerts are reference notices computed inside the app. On a real shore, always check official tide tables, local signs and closures, and the rules of the local authority and fishing co-op. Selling seafood gathered by non-fishers is prohibited by law in Korea; selling in the game is only a game rule.
5. Your responsibilities
You must not modify the app or obtain coins or gear by abnormal means. If you do, we may revoke related benefits or limit support.
6. Intellectual property
All rights in the app and its components (art, sound, terrain, code, trademarks) belong to us.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is" without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or freedom from errors. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from use of the app, including use of in-game information on a real shore. Progress stored on your device may be lost if you uninstall the app or reset your device.
8. Changes to the service
We may add, change or discontinue features or the service.
9. Changes to these terms
If these terms change, we will post them on this page with their effective date. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the changed terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are resolved by the court with jurisdiction over our location, except where mandatory laws of your place of residence apply.
